2020-21 Local Business Partners
2020 and 2021 were not our usual years! Holding off on books sales and taking extra health and safety precautions also meant a reduced need for all the tasty treats and handy supplies our local sponsors usually provide. But some local businesses still partnered with us in new and wonderful ways during these tough times.
Scrawl Books gave us amazing prices on a mass book purchase to support our Book Bites project - letting us get more books for local kids while also keeping those dollars local.
Jersey Mike's Reston donated free new clean paper bags for all of the books for our Book Bites project - helping us safely distribute almost 2000 free books to local kids.
Makers Union Pub in Reston Town Center purchased books from our stock to offer guests something to read while dining in or waiting for their take out orders.
